
A 17-year-old was detained on Sunday after uploading a video clip online apparently outlining a capturing at a secondary school in Florida, according to the Sanford Cops Division.
Authorities claimed they got a confidential pointer on Saturday concerning a “video clip of an unidentified man intimidating to skyrocket Seminole Senior high school.”
The video clip “imagined the subject with numerous weapons, vests and various other products of problem,” authorities claimed in a statement on Sunday.

Timothy A. Thomas, 17, was inevitably verified as the trainee in the video clip, authorities claimed. Thomas was billed with scare tactics via a created or digital risk of a mass capturing or act of terrorism, authorities claimed.
Thomas is a trainee at Altitude Senior high school, which is about 4 miles from Seminole Senior high school. He was located at his home and “collared without case,” authorities claimed.
The tools– which were taken after the teenager’s apprehension– were “incredibly practical Airsoft reproductions,” according to authorities.
Sanford Principal of Cops Cecil Smith praised the “speedy commitment and apprehension” of the suspect.
