Authorities in Florida are warning residents to not feed or method monkeys noticed roaming round Orange Metropolis and two neighboring communities this week.
Police shared photographs of the mysterious monkeys to social media on Monday writing, “The Orange Metropolis Police Division has acquired a number of studies of monkey sightings inside the metropolis.”
Officers requested residents to contact the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Fee (FWC) for help in the event that they encounter a monkey within the space.
In a press release to ABC Information on Wednesday, the Orange Metropolis Police Division mentioned the sightings first started on Dec. 13 and related studies have been made to authorities within the cities of Deltona and DeBary.
The communities impacted are positioned about 30 miles north of Orlando. Police added that the monkeys are believed to be wild.
